harsh reality; an unknown co-existence?

Today, there are approximately 6,775,235,700 people living in the world. Out of these (let us round to the nearest billion) 7 billion people, more than half are the under-privledged, less unfortunate residing in under developed economies. However, there are still the less unfortunate in even the upmost of developed economies. There are a few of these people who are capable of achieving extra-ordinary things and usually do so, even in the hardest of situations. I recently read an article in the Express Tribune Pakistan, where a village boy from Mariabad (located on the outskirts of Quetta) excelled in his studies without having sufficient funds but still managed to land at Harvard for his masters. I was in complete and utter awe. Have a look for yourself; http://tribune.com.pk/story/247117/wondrous-feats-one-students-journey-from-small-town-balochistan-to-harvard-university/
